About Me
Artistic Profile
Theatre director and educator focused on ensemble-driven storytelling and actor-centered processes. My work explores the intersection of performance, identity, and human connection, with a particular interest in how theatre creates meaning and community in both traditional and contemporary contexts.
With a background as a New York City performer and training from Marymount Manhattan College (BFA Acting), I bring a strong foundation in acting, voice, and movement into the rehearsal room. My directing practice emphasizes collaboration, emotional authenticity, and the creation of safe, expressive environments where performers can take risks and discover their voice.

She began her career at a young age, performing with the nationally recognized Entertainment Revue for eight years before continuing her training at The Boston Conservatory and earning her BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College.
Jessica spent over a decade in New York working as an actress in television and regional theatre, with credits including The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and RENT at The Peregrine Theatre Company. She currently serves as a full-time theatre faculty member at the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, where she teaches Acting, and Musical Theatre to students of all ages.
Also a certified yoga instructor, Jessica brings mindfulness, breath work, and physical awareness into her teaching and creative process. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where young artists can grow in confidence, creativity, and authenticity.
My Mission
I believe theatre education empowers young people to become expressive, empathetic, and confident individuals. At the core of my work is a deep personal mission to create a safe, inclusive space where young artists feel seen, supported, and free to be their most authentic selves.
